The Gene Winfield “Reactor” (based on a Citroen DS platform with a Corvair turbo engine) was in that episode as a “Jupiter 8". It was also the feature of an episode of Bewitched and showed up in an episode of Batman.

The car in the pic is the “Reactor”. It made the rounds all over TV back then and actually *was* in a Star Trek episode.
